A warm and heavy Italian wool base is overlayed with a custom-manufactured guipure lace that incorporates Casella Meyer’s logo and the spirits motif throughout. The wool has a subtle sheen to it, reflecting the variations of light so that the guipure embroidery comes alive from within. The body of the coat is one continuous piece, with only the sleeves sewn on – a complex technique that gives the piece its elevated form and structure.
